I started Spilled Milk at two in the morning.
I'd just been laid off for the first time in my career. I'd watched my husband go through it twice before me, so I thought I understood what it felt like. I was wrong. Getting laid off, especially six months into a role you love, with people you love working with, is a gut punch. It feels like a bad breakup, and you're left wondering, why me?
Two nights later I was up late reading, the way I usually am, when the phrase “don't cry over spilled milk” popped into my head. I'm always the one to bounce back from a setback, so it landed hard, especially half delirious at 2am. The more I sat with it, the more it sounded like a good name for a company. By morning I'd decided to build one. Thirty days later I had two clients, a dream, and the confidence to never look back.
I've spent almost a decade in SaaS, FinTech, and employee benefits, helping founders and growth-stage teams turn marketing from a guessing game into a revenue engine. I'm a marketing generalist, or as I like to put it, a chameleon. I've worked on lean teams my whole career, which forced me to learn every part of the marketing function instead of just one slice of it. Pair that with a husband who spent over a decade as an account executive in sales, and we know our way around the full sales and marketing engine. I can run the whole stack, from brand and digital strategy to the events and demand gen that fill the pipeline. At one SHRM conference I booked 54 onsite demos at 360 percent of goal and brought in 380 leads. My email campaigns average a 68 percent open rate, close to twice the healthcare industry average.
Spilled Milk started as a 2am thought after a hard day. Now it's how I help founders and teams make marketing something they can rely on, not something they cross their fingers and hope works out.

I spent 10 years in SaaS sales.
Through lots of wins and grueling nights, I quarterbacked huge deals with names like Amtrak and Coinbase. Running complex sales cycles with companies in the Fortune 500 teaches you a lot about entrepreneurship. And so, after layoffs, which are so common today in the tech industry, I brought that entrepreneurial grit to Spilled Milk.
Tech and AI are extremely beneficial in today's world of work. We feel that productivity gains are best used to enhance the human element of work. I'm excited to deliver a suite of products and services that align with that mentality.
When I'm not working, I'm enjoying life with my beautiful wife, Kallan, and our rescue dog, Ollie.
We love international travel. I also happen to write fantasy fiction and am working toward becoming a published author!
